BotanyFarms started in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood in 2019, in a converted warehouse space that felt equal parts greenhouse and kitchen.
We opened because we saw a gap between rushed floral counters and wellness shops that leaned too heavily on promises, and we wanted to create something quieter: a place where botanicals and artisan confections could speak for themselves.
The concept grew from a simple idea that plants and plant-based ingredients deserve the same level of craft and transparency as any other food or artisan good. Miami’s warmth and color gave us the setting, but the real foundation was built on ingredient lists we could stand behind and sourcing decisions we could explain in plain language.
From the beginning, we’ve stocked fresh-cut peonies and eucalyptus alongside small-batch gummies made with elderberry and passionfruit, not because the categories are obvious neighbors, but because both deserve careful selection and honest presentation. What ties it all together is respect for the raw material, whether it’s grown in soil or blended in a kitchen.
Every botanical that comes through our doors is evaluated on origin, freshness, and how it will hold up in someone’s home or routine. For fresh florals, that means working with growers who can tell us the varietal, the region, and the day it was cut. For gummies and confections, it means sourcing fruit extracts and botanicals with ingredient transparency we can trace back to the supplier.
We don’t work with ingredients we can’t identify or suppliers who can’t answer our questions. Our essential oils come from distillers who provide batch details and botanical names, and our handcrafted gummies list every fruit and herbal component on the label because we believe you should know exactly what you’re tasting.
Sourcing isn’t about chasing trends or filling a checklist. It’s about building relationships with people who grow lavender in the Pacific Northwest, distill bergamot oil with care, and harvest blood oranges at the right moment so the flavor shows up in the final product the way it should.
